The present writ petition is filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for direction to the respondents to allow terminal posting as per the options given in Annexure P-3, as the petitioner is above 58 years of age and retiring on 31.08.2026, by setting aside order dated 12.03.2025 qua petitioner shown at Sr. No. 7. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents contends that the present petition has rendered infructuous, since order dated 12.03.2025, which is impugned in the present writ petition, has been cancelled, vide order dated 08.05.2026. She further contends that the petitioner has been promoted also w.e.f 01.01.2026, vide order dated 19.05.2026 and he has joined as well. 3. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. 4.
