By mean of the present writ petition, petitioners seek following reliefs:- “(i) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider claim of petitioners for regularization on the post occupied by them or on any other equivalent posts w.e.f. the date of their initial engagement and pay them all consequential benefits. (ii) Any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. (iii) Award cost of the petition to the present petitioners.” Heard. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 06.01.2025, passed by this Court in WPSS No.436 of 2024, Ajay Kumar and others vs. State of Uttarakhand and others with connected matters. This fact is admitted by the learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3. Since the matter is covered, the instant petition is decided in terms of the judgment dated 06.01.2025, passed by this Court in WPSS No.436 of 2024, Ajay Kumar and others vs. State of Uttarakhand and others with connected matters.
