Ms. Gayatri Singh, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioners / Applicant in this batch of Writ Petitions, submits that when the proceedings were initiated, at that time, the Petitioners were aggrieved by the Clauses in the EOI as well as the manner of the implementation of the EOI. However, as on date, the period of the contract has already expired. 2. She submits, that although, the contract period has expired, yet, Petitioners desire to pursue the allegation of malpractices in the award of the contract. As such, she seeks leave of this Court to withdraw these proceedings with liberty to avail appropriate remedy, as may be permissible under the law, including lodging complaint before the State’s Vigilance Department. Prayer is allowed. The Writ Petitions are permitted to be withdrawn. 3. We make it clear that if bonafide complaint is lodged by the Petitioners before the Competent Authority, the same be considered in accordance with law.
