By the Judgment dated 12 November 2025 passed in Writ Petition No. 2639 of 2024, this Court was seized of the issue as to whether the requirement of passing the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) is mandatory for teachers serving in minority institutions. While deciding the petition, this Court directed Petitioner No. 1 in Writ Petition No. 2639 of 2024 to furnish an undertaking before this Court within a period of two weeks. However, the said undertaking has not been furnished within the stipulated period. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the undertaking shall be furnished before this Court during the course of the day. The statement is accepted.
