The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no. 3 to mutate the name of the petitioner in Gata No. 3673, area 6.437 hectare and Gata No. 2722, area 10.742 hectare, Village Jewar Bangar, Tehsil Jewar, District Gautam Budh Nagar. 2. An affidavit has been filed by SDM, Tehsil Jewar, District Gautam Budh Nagar dated 24.9.2025, stating that the name of the petitioner has been mutated in the revenue records in respect of the land aforesaid. 3. Counsel for the petitioner very fairly states that in view of the mutation carried out by the respondents, the present petition has become infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. 5. The personal appearance of the officer concerned shall accordingly stand dispensed with.
