Order No. 06
Dated 11th June, 2025
Heard the learned counsel for the respective sides.
This appeal is directed against the order dated 31.01.2025 passed in B.P. No. 35 of 2025 in connection with AHTU (Chainpur) P.S. Case No. 06/2023 by learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been alleged that Kesar Ansari had allured the informant Savita Kumari and her sister Kavita Kumari to go to Delhi on the pretext of providing them job. Subsequently, Kesar Ansari brought them to the placement agency of the appellant who had subsequently placed them for domestic help at various places. Remuneration of both the sisters were also taken by him. Subsequent thereto one of the Sisters Kavita could not be traced out.
It has been submitted that admittedly the victims were allured by Kesar Ansari and the allegation against the appellant is merely of providing job to the victims through his placement agency. It has also been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 03.12.2024.
Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that it has come in course of investigation that the victims, namely, Kavita and Savita were brought to his placement agency and he provided them work of domestic help. A raid was conducted by SIT team at different places in Delhi and nine victims were recovered, but the victim Kavita could not be traced out by SIT and she is still traceless.
There appears to be a specific allegation against the appellant of providing the job of domestic help to both the sisters and the victim Kavita
Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:15132 ) is still traceless. In such circumstances, therefore, we are not inclined to interfere in the order dated 31.01.2025 passed in B.P. No. 35 of 2025 in connection with AHTU (Chainpur) P.S. Case No. 06/2023 by learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. Consequently, this appeal stands dismissed.
