The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to provide appointment to the petitioner as per her qualification under the provisions of Dying in harness Rules and a further prayer to direct the respondent no.3 to decide the representation dated 21.04.2025 in accordance with the mandatory provision of law. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received an appointment letter dated 18.07.2025, offering her appointment to a Class-IV post with a direction to join within 15 days. In view of the above, the present petition has become infructuous. It is, accordingly, dismissed as having become infructuous. Needless to say that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the aforesaid appointment letter, she shall be at liberty to challenge the same by means of filing a fresh petition.
