For Appellant : Mr.V.Anandhamoorthy For Respondents : Mr.K.Balasubramaniam for R1 to R3 J U D G M E N T This appeal is filed by the appellant to set aside the Award dated 26.11.2024 made in E.C.No.95 of 2018 on the file of the Commissioner of Employees Compensation Tribunal/Joint Commissioner of Labour (Full Additional Incharge) Coimbatore. 2.Heard learned counsel for the appellant, learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record. 3.This Court vide order dated 06.08.2025, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Coimbatore for mediation. 4.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it was submitted that the matter was settled between the parties. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.M.A.No.2237 of 2025 5.On perusal of the settlement agreement, it is seen that a sum of Rs.8,34,808/- has already been deposited by the appellant before the Joint Coimbatore of Labour, Coimbatore and the said fact also agreed by the respondents 1 to 3. 6.The claimants/respondents 1 to 3 are permitted to withdraw the amount which was already deposited. 7.Learned counsel for the appellant seeks one week time to deposit the balance amount. 8.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Courts grants one week time to deposit the balance amount. The appellant is directed to deposit the balance amount within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 9.It is also submitted that the name of the first respondent was wrongly mentioned as V.Leela in the cause title instead of V.Sheela. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.M.A.No.2237 of 2025 Therefore, the Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title. 10.In view of the above, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of.
