The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent-Tahsildar, Bhadravathi Taluk, to consider the representation dated 04.01.2022 and at Annexure-A given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he was granted 4 acres 5 guntas in Survey No.20 of Antaragange Village, Kudligere Hobli, Bhadravathi Taluk. Thereafter, the petitioner paid the kimath and pursuant thereto, a saguvali chit was issued to the petitioner on 26.03.2018. However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the land records - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33771 WP No. 15788 of 2025 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Bhadravathi Taluk, to verify from the records and find out if land is granted to the petitioner, he has paid the kimath and whether Saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 26.03.2018. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, after collecting the necessary fee. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
