The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.2, District Magistrate, Bareilly to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2025. 2. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that there are two roads running on two sides of his house. He is replacing the old gate of his house with a new gate. It was objected to by Gram Pradhan, Vikas son of Chandra Sen, Suraj son of Satyaveer and Devendra son of Balwant Singh. 3. The petitioner has prayed for intervention of the District Magistrate to enable him to erect gate over his property. 4. The private persons, who are allegedly interfering in the erection of gate by the petitioner, are not before this court, having not been impleaded. 5. We are not aware of the nature of right being claimed by them. The District Magistrate, on the administrative side, would have no power to decide any such dispute. 6. We, therefore, refrain from issuing any direction as prayed for and leave it open to the petitioner to avail such other remedy, as may be advised.
