ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents.
2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner has filed an application in From No.57 on 04.12.2018 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 3 acres of land in Sy.No.527 (old Sy.No.224) of Melajipura Village, Kasaba Hobli, Chamarajanagar Taluk and District. However, till date no orders have been passed on the application filed by the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent-Tahasildar is duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee is also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders.
4. Consequently, the writ petition stands
disposed of with a specific direction to respondent - Tahasildar, Chamarajanagar, to place the application of the petitioner before the Committee along with his recommendations within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Thereafter, respondent-Committee shall consider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months thereafter.
