The petitioner claims that the rehabilitation case filed by the petitioner bearing the Application/Case No.113 of 2014, which is listed at Serial No.153 in the list of complaints/cases with regard to the benefit of rehabilitation for the land acquired for Tehri Dam Project is pending for a long with the respondent no.2/the District Magistrate, Tehri Garhwal. The petitioner seeks direction that the case may be expedited. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending for a long, in which, no decision has been taken. Since, 2014, in fact, it is 11 years, in such cases, there should be little promptitude that should be applied. The respondent no.2 is requested to decide the case, as expeditiously as possible.
