This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“i). That this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue the Writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to extend the benefits of Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022, and their basic pay be fixed at Rs.37600/- w.e.f. October 2021, i.e. the date when they have completed two years of regular service in terms of Notification dated 06.09.2022 (Annexure P-7) along with all consequential benefits and the respondent be further directed to release the consequential arrears of pay along with interest @ 6% p.a.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the case of the petitioners and the reliefs prayed for by them have already been considered & adjudicated upon in Inder Singh Thakur & Ors. vs. State of H.P. &Ors.1.Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners will be satisfied in case they be permitted to prefer representation(s) to respondent No.3/competent authority within a period of two weeks and thereafter, the competent authority be directed to decide the said representation(s) within a time-boundschedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioners to file representation(s) to respondent No.3/competent authority within a period of two weeks from today. In case such a representation(s) is received by respondent No.3/competent authority within the aforesaid period, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration the above judgment in the case of Inder Singh Thakur1 within a period of six weeks from

today. The decision soarrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioners.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
