HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:30638 WP No. 33301 of 2024 under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short, 'the Act') and therefore, there is a revisional remedy available for the petitioner under Section 136(3) of the Act. Further in terms of the recent amendment brought to Section 136(1) of the Act an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner under Section 136(3) is appealable before the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. 3. Upholding the submissions of the learned AGA, the writ petition is dismissed while reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner under Section 136(3) of the Act. Learned AGA is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
