Heard Sri.Narayanaswamy,
learned counsel for Sri.Vishwanatha Bhat A., learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.D.Basavaraja, Central Government Counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and perused the entire writ petition papers as well as the original selection proceedings placed before this Court in a sealed cover by respondent's counsel, which is returned to learned counsel for the respondent after perusal of the same.
2. The petitioner is before this Court questioning the order dated 17.06.2025 in Miscellaneous Application No.170/00204/2025 in Original Application No.170/00143/2025 rejecting the petitioner's request for permission to participate in the interview for the post of 'Scientist-B (Pre-Cocoon Sector) in the Specialisation of Agricultural Physics pursuant to the advertisement notification at Annexures-A2 to A4 published by the respondent-Central Silk Board.

3. This Court by interim order dated 19.06.2025
directed the second respondent to interview the petitioner for the post of 'Scientist-B' scheduled to be held on 20.06.2025 with an observation that the interview would be subject to the outcome of the present writ petition.
4. When the matter was listed on 29.08.2025, this Court directed respondent Nos.1 and 2 to place in a sealed cover, the result of the interview. Accordingly, respondent No.2 has placed before this Court, in sealed cover, the Selection Committee Proceedings dated 25.06.2025. On going through the proceedings of the Selection Committee, it is seen that, for two posts of Scientist-B, one Sri.Sugavanesh Waganum K., against the unreserved post and one Sri.Selvaprakash R., against OBC post are selected who have scored 117 and 147 marks respectively in written examination and final score of 50.1088 and 40.7713, whereas the petitioner has scored 109 marks in the written examination and has scored 32.38% of marks

in final score. Thus, the petitioner is no way near to the selected candidates.
5. In view of the above, question of going into any other contention of the petitioner would not arise. Accordingly, writ petition stands rejected.
In view of disposal of the above writ petition, interim
order gets dissolved.
