JUSTICE SUSMITA PHUKAN KHAUND ORDER Date : 13-09-2025 Mr. Swapan Maji, Regional Manager is present for the Insurer, United India Insurance Company Ltd. 2. The claimants Hiramani Boro @ Rabha, China Baro @ Boro and Chabin Baro @ Rabha @ Chabin Ch. Boro, are present. 3. Both the parties have settled their dispute amicably. The Insurer has agreed to pay the total amount of Rs.99,00,000/- (Rupees Ninety Nine Lacs) as compensation to the claimants, out of which, an interim amount of Rs.57,16,703/- (Rupees Fifty Seven Lacs Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Three) has been deposited by the Insurer. 4. It is submitted by the claimants that the father of the deceased Chabin Baro @ Rabha @ Chabin Ch. Boro, claimant No. 3, had earlier received an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) and the mother of the deceased China Baro @ Boro, claimant No. 2, had received an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lacs) from the interim amount of Rs.57,16,703/- (Rupees Fifty Page No.# 3/3 Seven Lacs Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Three). 5. As agreed between the claimants, now, the Insurer is directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.41,83,297/-(Rupees Forty One Lacs Eighty Three Thousand Two Hundred and Ninety Seven) within six weeks from today before the Registry of this Court. 6. As agreed among the claimants, an amount of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lacs) is apportioned in favour of father of the deceased, Sri Chabin Baro @ Rabha @ Chabin Ch. Boro (claimant No. 3), an amount of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lacs) is apportioned in the favour of mother of the deceased, China Baro @ Boro (claimant No. 2) and the remaining amount is to be apportioned in the favour of wife of the deceased, Smt. Hiramani Boro @ Rabha (claimant No. 1). 7. The claimants may withdraw the abovementioned amount from the Registry of this Court after proper verification and identification of the claimants by the Registry. 8.
