On the last date fixed i.e. on 29.08.2025, a show cause notice for SPO, Haridwar, had been issued whereby the explanation was called as to why the final report has not been submitted by the Investigating Officer before the prosecuting authority, and why the proceedings in the said matter was being halted and why action should not be taken against the said authority in this regard. 5. Today, learned State Counsel submits that ever since show cause notice had been issued by the Court for the SPO, Haridwar, a final report was ultimately submitted before the learned Trial Court concerned. 6. Since the final report has been submitted before the concerned court, still there is a laxity on part of the said SPO, Haridwar, and he is required to clarify in writing with sound reasons, and the said report be made part of the record. 7. In view of the above statement made by the learned State Counsel, the writ petition has become infructuous. 8. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as having infructuous. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
