Heard Sri M. Pitchaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services and Sri S. Venkateswarlu, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 to 6. 2. The petitioner, Conductor in Piduguralla Depot, APSRTC filed the above writ petition, to declare the impugned proceedings dated 19.06.2018, issued by respondent No.4, punishing the petitioner with deferment of two annual increments for two years with cumulative effect, etc., as illegal and arbitrary. 3. Respondent No.5, by proceedings No.01/1(20)/2016-PDRL dated 15.06.2016 (Ex.P1) has removed the petitioner from service. Against the said proceedings, the petitioner filed an appeal before the Deputy Chief Traffic Manager, Narasaraopet and the same was dismissed vide proceedings No.PA/19(29)/18-Dy.CTM (N) dated 28.04.2018 (Ex.P2). Aggrieved by Ex.P2, the petitioner filed a review petition before the Regional Manager, Guntur. The said review petition was partly allowed by proceedings No.PA/19(63)/18- RM/GNT dated 19.06.2018 (Ex.P3). The petitioner, not satisfied with the modified order, filed a further petition before the Executive Director, APSRTC, Nellore, respondent No.3 and the said petition is not disposed of. 4. Though the above writ petition is filed impugning the proceedings under Ex.P1, at the hearing learned counsel for the petitioner confined arguments and urged the Court to direct respondent No.3 to dispose of the petition dated 08.04.2024 filed under Regulation under 29A of the APSRTC Employees’ (Classification, Control & Appeal) Regulations, 1967 (for short ‘the Rules’). 5. Learned standing counsel did not refute the said submission. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing the learned respondent No.3 to dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner under Regulation under 29A of the Rules, strictly following the rules, within three months from receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
