JUSTICE S SUNIL DUTT YADAV - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:47973 WP No. 14514 of 2022 ORAL ORDER The petitioner has sought for setting aside of the endorsement dated 06.07.2017 issued by the third respondent at Annexure-F. In terms of the said endorsement, the request of the petitioners for deletion of entry in Column 9 and 12 (2) of the RTC in respect of Sy.No.24/4, of Jakkenahalli Village, Dodderi Hobli, Madhugiri Taluk, has been declined. 2. Learned AGA upon instructions submits that he has received written communication to the effect that petition may be allowed and appropriate orders be passed. He draws attention to the contents of the letter dated 02.01.2023. 3. It is further submitted that the learned AGA has received another communication dated 22.03.2024 in which letter dated 02.01.2023 was enclosed. 4. Perused the letter dated 02.01.2023. 5. It is the opinion of Tahsildar that the entry 'Government of Karnataka' found in Column 9 and 12 (2) of the RTC has been made without any supporting material or - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:47973 WP No. 14514 of 2022 records. It is further opined that there could be deletion of the name of the Government in the revenue records. 6. In light of the same, the endorsement at Annexure-F is set aside. Respondent no.4 is directed to delete the entry of Government as found in Column 9 and 12 (2) of the RTC and restore the name for the present of Late Narasimhamurthy and Chikka Basappa, S/o Dodda Basappa. 7. It is stated that both Narasimhamurthy and Dodda Basappa have passed away and request would be made as regards entry of names of the petitioners. 8. The deletion of name of the Government to be made within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. 9. Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
