THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 27.03.2025, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: WP(C)No.8882 of 2016 2025:KER:26662 3 J U D G M E N T (Dated this the 27th day of March, 2025) The writ petition is preferred by a physically disabled candidate with Roll No.71774 for entrance examination for P.G course in dental surgery, MDS – 2016. While considering the matter, this Court passed an interim order wherein a direction has already been issued to consider the petitioner who has 50% to 70% disability. However it is clarified that, it will be subject to the satisfaction of physical suitability of the petitioner in relation to the specialty in terms of Clause 3.3 of Ext.P1 prospectus. It is further made clear that the assessment of the degree of disability by the State Disability Board cannot have a relevance for considering the petitioner for the benefit of quota reservation except to the extent of determining the physical suitability for a particular specialty. 2. In response to that, the learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that, the petitioner has been considered by the authority on the basis of 50% disability.
