The present application has been filed for quashing of the charge sheet dated 12.08.2024, cognizance order dated 27.01.2025 as well as entire proceedings of Case No. 1004 of 2025 (State Vs. Rizwan and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 186 of 2024, under Sections 323, 504, 506, 34 IPC, P.S. Mohamdabad, Sikariganj, Mau. 3. Pursuant to the previous order of this Court, compromise has been verified. Certified copy of the compromise along with order dated 18.08.2025 passed by the court concerned has been placed before the Court, which is taken on record. 4. The genuineness of the compromise has not been disputed by learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, the aforesaid verification and following the law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Nikhil Merchant Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another: (2008) 9 SCC 677 and Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another: (2012) 10 SCC 303, the application deserves to be allowed. 6. The application is allowed. 7. The proceedings of aforesaid case are hereby quashed.
