By this petition, the petitioner has challenged order dated 04.05.2016 passed by the Magistrate under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. directing registration of the FIR and investigation into the allegations made against the petitioner. 3. The record shows that this petition was not effectively pursed by the petitioner for the past 9 years. The learned APP informs this Court that in the meanwhile, the investigation led to trial and eventually, the accused was acquitted by an order dated 24.06.2025 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mazgaon. 5.
