The contents of the Joint Memo filed by the Petitioners and Respondent No.2 read as under: JOINT MEMO FILED BY THE PETITIONERS AND RESPONDENT No.2 1) It is submitted that the Petitioners herein filed the above Quash Petition seeking to quash PRC.No.4/2024 in Cr.No.58/2022 on the file of the Hon'ble Court II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate-cum-Junior Civil Judge, Tanuku. The Respondent No.2 has lodged the above case against the Petitioners under Sections 498-A, 315 R/w.34 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, wherein, the Petitioners made as Accused and the matter is pending before the concerned Magistrate. 2) We submit that at the instance of elders and well-wishers, the parties have compromised amicably and the Petitioners and the Respondent No.2 have agreed to settle the dispute pending before Civil and Criminal Courts with the following terms and conditions; a. The Petitioners herein shall deposit an amount of Rs.7,50,000/- towards payment of alirnony to the defacto complainant. It is submitted that an FDR bearing No.0858023 is already generated for the said amount in the names of Komati Nageswara Rao, Rajendra Prasad Kakita. b. Upon the said condition of deposit, the defacto complainant-wife agreed for grant of divorce in H.M.O.P.No.112/2024 on the file of the Court of the Hon'ble Civil Judge (Senior Division), Tanuku. c. Further both the parties have agreed to withdraw criminal cases filed against each other in different Police Stations. It is submitted that all of us have come to a conclusion to settle the present Crime No.58/2022 on the were 3 file of the Attili Police Station, West Godavari District, before this Hon'ble Court, d. After this Hon'ble Court allows the Compromise Memo, the elders would give the said amount to Respondent No.2. As such we have filed a petition seeking the Hon'ble Court to record the compromise. The contents mentioned in the said Compromise Petition are true and correct to the best of our knowledge and belief. The said compromise is entered with free will and consent and without any coercion. Hence, we are filing the present Joint Memo.
