Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:118071 Court No. - 83 Case :- APPLICATION U/S 529 BNSS No. - 2294 of 2025 Applicant :- Smt Chanda Devi Opposite Party :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Applicant :- Alauddin,Fakhruddin Counsel for Opposite Party :- G.A. Hon'ble Nalin Kumar Srivastava,J. 1. This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed with a prayer to direct the court concerned to decide the Criminal Case No. 31340 of 2023, arising out of case crime no.252 of 2023, under Sections 406, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Uska Bazar, District Siddharth Nagar pending in the Court of A.C.J.M./FTC, Siddharth Nagar expeditiously within a stipulated period. 2. Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. It appears from the perusal of the record that above case is pending at the stage of recording of evidence. Needless to say that at least her evidence may be adduced by the applicant / informant herself but it is very strange that instead of adducing evidence, the applicant / informant unnecessarily knocked at the door of this Court, which is not a good practice. It also appears that the applicant / informant is not appearing before the Court concerned. Since the delay is attributed to the applicant, there is no need to issue any direction for expeditious disposal of the said case. However, the applicant is directed to appear before the trial court on the next date fixed in the matter for recording her evidence. 4. With the above observations, the application stands disposed of. Order Date :- 21.7.2025 safi Digitally signed by :- MAHBOOB SAFI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
