This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to register a First Information Report against the respondent nos.5 to 8. 2. Learned AGA submits that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an application under section 174(4) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 3. We do find force in the submission raised by learned AGA. 4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner may avail such remedy as is available under law. It is, however, provided that in the event the petitioner files an application under section 174(4) of BNSS, the same shall be decided expeditiously by the competent authority. 5.
