1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.26 dated 14.03.2025, registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 305, 324(4), 351, 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023, at Police Station Division 3, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana.
2. Status report dated 08.09.2025 filed on behalf of the respondent-State is taken on record. Copy thereof, has been supplied to opposite counsel. Investigating Officer as well as SHO of the concerned police station have appeared and apologized for causing delay in filing reply and also assured to be careful in future.
3. Vide order dated 11.07.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioners were granted interim bail and was directed to join investigation.
4. Learned State counsel, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, has submitted that the petitioners have joined investigation on 16.07.2025 and the are not required for custodial interrogation. NISHA 2025.09.11 20.05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

5. Keeping in view the nature of the allegations, pre-trial incarceration of the petitioners is also not required. As such, a case is made out for allowing the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 11.07.2025, granting interim bail to the petitioners, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 (analogous to Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure).
