Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to ensure that as ans when the petitioner take his animal (buffalos) with necessary and required papers to Model Slaughter House situated at Unnao, then, in the way he may not be unnecessary harassed by the police of concerned police stations. 2. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to pass appropriate orders upon the application of the petitioner dt. 10.1.2025 within some reasonable time, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been granted licence to transport cattle but whenever, the cattle are being transported, the police harasses the petitioner. 4. The question as to whether on whom direction, the police has harassed the petitioner during the transportation of cattle is a question of fact, which cannot be considered by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. However, the petitioner has other remedy available under law for redressal of his grievances.
