The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 11.11.2024 registered as Case Crime No. 0530 of 2024, under Section 66(D) of Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2000 and 351(2) of B.N.S., 2023, Police Station- Shivpur, District- Varuna (Commissionerate Varanasi) and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of impugned First Information Report. Ms. Manju Thakur, learned A.G.A.-I, submits that the charge sheet in the present case has already been submitted on 20.04.2025; however, she is not aware as to whether cognizance has been taken thereon or not.
