The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ , order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the Respondent No.1 to take a decision on the recommendation made by the R2 for premature release expeditiously. b. Respondents having taken up the case of the petitioner suo motu, the Advisory committee has approved premature release of the petitioner, which has been approved by the Life Convicts Release Committee [LCRC] and the matter is now pending before His Excellency the Governor of State of Karnataka. 4. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i. The Writ petition is allowed. ii. The respondents are directed to release the petitioner on parole by imposing the usual conditions.*Needless to say, that the said parole shall be in force till orders are passed by his Excellency Governor, State of Karnataka.
