Case No. 18 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 25(1- B)a/26 of Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Prateek Raj, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Gumla. On 14.08.2024, Bishunpur Police apprehended this petitioner from an abandoned Government School at Bishunpur, Gumla. On search, a loaded country made pistol was recovered from his possession. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than six months. It was further submitted that chargesheet has been submitted in this case and the offence alleged is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Prateek Raj, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Gumla, or his successor, in connection with Bishunpur P.S.
