Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Brajesh Kumar Dwivedi, learned counsel for respondent no.3 and learned A.G.A for the State. 2. The present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 29.6.2025, registered as Case Crime No.568 of 2025, under Sections- 112, 308(5), 351(3), 3(5) of B.N.S. and Section 13 of the Public Gambling Act, 1867, Police Station- Kotwali Nagar, District- Banda and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of impugned First Information Report. 3. Learned counsel for respondent no.3 has earlier filed a short counter affidavit wherein it is stated that the parties have settled their dispute outside the court and the respondent no.3 has no objection in case the impugned FIR is quashed. 4. Accordingly, the impugned FIR is quashed. 5. The writ petition is allowed. 6. Investigating officer of this case is directed to make entry of this compromise in the case diary. 7. Let this order be communicated to the S.P., Banda, by the Registrar (Compliance) within 10 days.
