Case No. 91 of 2023 for the offence registered under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code, charge has been framed under sections 394/411/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Singhbhum West at Chaibasa. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 2284 of 2024 by order dated 23.04.2024. On 06.06.2023 at about 3:20 A.M., the informant was waylaid by the accused persons near Basatonto and on knife point the accused persons took away Rs.10,000/-, mobile phone and other documents from him. The informant was also assaulted during the course of robbery. It appears from the impugned order that the petitioner was identified in the T.I. Parade by the informant. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2023. The offence alleged is triable by a court of judicial magistrate. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the period of custody, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Singhbhum West at Chaibasa in connection with Chaibasa Muffasil P.S.
