1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for direction to the respondents to grant the enhanced pension to the petitioner in terms of the option exercised by him.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if the present writ petition be treated as a representation and a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time bound manner.
