BY ADV SRI.P.SREEKUMAR,SC,KERALA UTY.OF HEALTH SCIENCES THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING BEEN FINALLY HEARD ON 25.03.2025, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: 2025:KER:25365 2 WP(C) No.9657 of 2016 JUDGMENT Dated this the 25 th day of March, 2025 The writ petition is preferred seeking for a direction to the respondent University to issue the consent of affiliation applied for the specialities in MD General Medicine, MS General Surgery, MS ENT, MS Orthopaedics and MS (OB&GYN) as applied through Ext.P3. The petitioner also seeks for a declaration that the respondent University having in possession of all records in relation to the institution and having issued Ext.P2, to issue the consent of affiliation revalidating the same on making the application through Ext.P3 even without the delay so far caused. 2. When this writ petition came up for consideration on 30.3.2016, while admitting the matter, this Court granted an interim direction to the University to provisionally issue the consent of affiliation for the specialities mentioned in Ext.P3 in the writ petition. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the University submit that the prayers sought for in this writ 2025:KER:25365 3 WP(C) No.9657 of 2016 petition have become infructuous. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
