At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner states that she has instructions to withdraw the present petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for directing the respondent to grant pre-mature release to the petitioner undergoing life imprisonment at Central Jail Goindwal after his conviction in FIR No.27, dated 01.01.2001, under Sections 302 and 376 of IPC registered at Police Station Kathunangal District Amritsar in terms of Policy of Punjab Government dated 08.07.1991 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner, with liberty to file fresh by challenging the aforesaid order dated 16.12.2024 (Anneuxre R-2). 2.
