JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Date : 28.02.2025 This is an application filed seeking stay of the judgment and award dated 06.12.2024 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No.3, Kamrup (M) at Guwahati in MAC Case No.488/2019. 2. Taking into account that the deceased was a Government employee and would be further entitled to the benefits of the notification dated 14.09.2017 issued by the Finance (Estt.-A) Department, Government of Assam, this Court is of the opinion that the impugned award is required to be stayed subject to the deposit of amount of Rs.1,21,000/- before the Registry of this Court within 19.03.2025. 3. Thereupon, the claimants herein shall be at liberty to file appropriate application before the Registry of this Court and the Registry upon such application and after proper identification and verification, release the said amount to the claimants.
