Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 29.10.2024, at about lO.30 hours, on receipt of credible information, the sub- Inspector of Police, Kancharapalem police station, Visakhapatnam City, along with his staff and mediators, reached CISF quarters, Srinivasa Nagar, Kan6harapalem, Visakhapatnam City and found the petitioner herein/Accused in possession of 2 KGs of Ganja. The contraband was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Petitioner herein was arrested on 29.10.2024 and since then he is in judicial remand. The quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is 2 Kgs, which is not a commercial quantity.
