The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Maheshpur P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 414, 120B, 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Pakur. 3. On 10.05.2024, Maheshpur Police intercepted a Scorpio bearing Registration No. JH10CU 6654 from Baskendri and apprehended co-accused Md. Danish Ansari. On search, 50 liters of diesel kept in a jerkin was recovered. 4. It is alleged that the apprehended accused did not produce any document to show that he had purchased the diesel. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot, nor anything incriminating was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of Md. Danish Ansari. 6. Mr. Ajay Kr Pathak, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 7. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Pakur in connection with Maheshpur P.S.
