Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondent. 2. The present 482 Cr.P.C. application has been filed to quash the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 1388 of 2023, under Section 406 IPC, P.S. Khurja, district Bulandshahar. 3. The matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 22-11-2024. However, as per the report dated 20-03-2025 submitted by the Registrar (Mediation)/In- Charge, Allahabad High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre (AHCMCC), the mediation proceedings could not succeed due to non-presence of the applicant, though the opposite no.3 appeared on each and every date. 4. From the above, it is evident that the applicant was not genuinely interested in pursuing the mediation proceedings. It appears that the sole purpose behind getting the matter referred to mediation was to obtain an interim order from this Court. Even otherwise, on merits, no case for interference under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is made out. 5. Accordingly, the instant application is dismissed.
