Hussain for the petitioners namely (i) Abdus Salam @Abdul Salam, and (ii) Abdul Hakim @Md. Hakim Uddin, who have filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail as they are apprehending arrest in connection with Dalgaon Police Station Case No. 28/2025 under Sections 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Heard Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that they have subjected the victim to cruelty which resulted in the death of the victim. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that a false case has been brought up against them. The victim died as a result of consuming multi vitamin tablets. 5. I have scrutinized the Case Diary. The petitioners have appeared before the Investigating Officer and their statements have been recorded. They have co- operated with the investigation.
