The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner inter- alias with the prayer to quash the order impugned dated 18.12.2024 passed by the Deputy Commissioner (Food), Bareilly Mandal, Bareilly/ Respondent No. 2 by which the stay application filed by the petitioner in Fair Price shop Appeal No. 68 of 2024 (Gulam Gaush vs. State of U.P. and others) has been rejected. 2. After some arguments, counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer and prayed that the appellate authority before whom the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending is directed to decide the same, expeditiously. 3. This prayer has not been opposed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of State-respondents. 4. In this view of the matter and also in the interest of justice, the present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the Respondent No. 2, Deputy Commissioner (Food), Bareilly Mandal, Bareilly to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, unless there is no legal impediment.
