Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Respondent is served and unrepresented. 2. Present petition is filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure with the following prayer: "WHEREFORE, the petitioner prays that this Hon'ble Court be pleased: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43986 CP No. 467 of 2024 Call for records and transfer the MC No.68/2024 pending before Principal Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Belthangadi to Principal Judge Family Court, Chikmagalur, by allowing the above Civil Petition in the interest of justice." 3. Facts in the nutshell which are utmost necessary for disposal of the present petition are as under: 3.1 Petitioner has filed Crl.Misc. No.152/2021 before the Prl. Civil Judge and JMFC, Mudigere and also filed matrimonial case in M.C.No.30/2021 for divorce before the Hon'ble Senior Civil Judge, Mudigere. The dispute between the parties have settled and the said petitions were closed. 3.2 Again due to dispute between the parties, the petitioner/wife has filed a case in Crl.Misc.No.7/2023 on the file of Prl. Civil Judge and JMFC, Mudigere - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43986 CP No. 467 of 2024 3.3 Thereafter, the respondent has filed matrimonial case in M.C.No.68/2024 for divorce on the file of the Principal Senior Civil Judge & JMFC, Belthangady. 4. Whereas the petitioner/wife has filed the present petition seeking transfer of matrimonial case in M.C.No.68/2024 from Belthangadi to Chikmagalur, on the ground that she is unable to attend both the cases at Belthangadi since her children residing with her at Chikmagalur. It is difficult for her to travel from Chikmagalur to Belthangadi on every date of hearing. 5. Having heard the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner, geographical distance and financial constraints are no longer good parameters for the transfer of the petition from one Court to another in view of the video conferencing facility. 6. If the petitioner files a necessary application before the Court at Belthangadi, learned Trial Judge shall - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43986 CP No. 467 of 2024 allow the said application and permit the petitioner to effectively participate through videoconference. 7.
