Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Prayagraj as respondent no. 4. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 3. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the following reliefs: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent no. 2 & 3 to ensure the fair investigation in pursuance of the first information report dated 5.6.2025, registered as Case Crime No. 254 of 2025, under Sections 85, 80(2) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Nawabganj, District-Prayagraj. (ii) Issue any other writ, order or direction in the nature of which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the first informant in the present case and though the FIR in the instant case has been registered on 5.6.2025, yet the police is not investigating the case in fair and impartial manner. 5. In view of the above, the petitioner may move an application before the Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Prayagraj, highlighting his grievance and seeking fair and impartial investigation and if such an application is moved before the Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Prayagraj, the Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Prayagraj/respondent no. 4 shall ensure the fair, impartial and expeditious investigation in the present case. 6.
