JUSTICE MRIDUL KUMAR KALITA ORDER Date : 08.09.2025 1. Heard Mr. S. S. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. K. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted interim bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 20.03.2025 and in pursuant to the directions of this Court, he has appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statements were also recorded. 3. On the other hand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that though the case diary was called for, however, in the meanwhile, the charge- sheet has been laid bearing charge-sheet No. 38/2025 dated 24.03.2025. 4. Though, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 has objected to the making interim bail as absolute on the ground that there are sufficient materials against the petitioner on record. 5. However, as there is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioner has abused his liberty after getting interim bail or that he has threatened or tried to influence the victim girl in any manner. Moreover, considering the fact that the petitioner has complied with the directions of this Court and has co-operated in the investigation as well as considering the fact that the charge-sheet has already been laid, the interim bail granted to the petitioner by order dated 20.03.2025 is hereby made absolute with a condition that he shall continue co-operate in the trial. 6. This anticipatory bail application is accordingly disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
