This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "A. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the application of petitioner dated 06.6.2025 (contained in Annexure-1 to the present writ petition), within time specified by this Hon'ble Court. B. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, restraining the respondents not to Interfere in peaceful possession of the petitioner over Plot Nos.68, 78 and 80 of Village Maholiya Veeran, Pargana Khutar, Tehsil Powayan, District Shahjahanpur, in any manner whatsoever." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that name of some other persons has been recorded in the revenue records. Ventilating his grievance, petitioner has moved an application on 06.06.2025, which is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the application of petitioner dated 06.06.2025, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
