Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the police are seeking remuneration for providing assistance in carrying out the order passed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'). 3. We do not see any reason as to why the bank should not provide the cost to the police for providing the said assistance. Accordingly, the bank is directed to pay the cost to the police. 4. Needless to mention, this cost shall be adjusted in terms of Section 13(7) of the Act. 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
