Petitioner’s application for premature retirement was considered by respondent department allowing him to continue till decision taken therein. He continued his duties until his premature retirement application was decided. 2. The short grievance of the petitioner is that respondent department, despite knowing the fact that he worked for the period till his application for premature retirement was decided, is not releasing his emoluments from July 2021 to March 2022. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for a while, submits that petitioner would feel satisfied if this petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider his representation for giving effect to his retirement prospectively and not retrospectively in accordance with law. 4. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation, if any, made or may be made for giving effect to his retirement prospectively and not retrospectively and release his emoluments for the period he worked, and decide it after providing him an opportunity of hearing within a period of two months from the date copy of this order is served upon them. 5.
