[2] This present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “i) Issue notice upon the Respondents: ii) Admit this Writ Petition; iii) Call for the records; iv) Issue Rule, calling upon the Respondents to show cause as to why a Writ in the nature of Mandamus shall not be issued for directing them to open the National Scholarship Portal and to allow the Petitioner to submit the On-line Renewal Application for Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region for the Year 2024-2025.” [3] The case of the petitioner is that he is a meritorious student with bright future and is entitled for scholarship. He made several applications for seeking extension of renewal deadline for Ishan Uday Scholarship, since the online window of the said process was shut on 31st December 2024, the fate of the petitioner remain undecided with regard to his scholarship. Therefore, he approached before this Court seeking the aforesaid reliefs. [4] It is seen from the record that the petitioner herein made several communication through emails to the concerned respondents ventilating his grievances but till date he got no positive response. [5] In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents no. 2 and 3 to examine the case of the petitioner in the light of the facts that have been indicated in his applications and take a decision within a period of 03(three) months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in accordance with law. The petitioner is also at liberty to approach the respondents with all relevant documents in support of his claim. The said decision be communicated to the petitioner as per procedure. With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
