This appeal has been preferred under Section 21 of National Investigation Agency Act 2008, challenging the Order of rejection of bail passed by the Court of Special Judge (UAPA), Anantnag, (for short “the Trial Court”) in case titled UT of J&K through Police Station, Bijbehara v. Shakir Ahmad Itoo.” 2. Mr. Wajid Mohammad Haseeb, learned counsel for the appellant, fairly submits that when bail application of appellant was rejected, thirteen out of seventeen prosecution witnesses had been examined. According to him, as of now two more prosecution witnesses have been examined and there remains only two witnesses who are to be examined. He further submits that he would not press this appeal, however, the Trial Court may be directed to conclude the trial of the case pending before it expeditiously. 3. Having regard to the submission made by learned counsel for the appellant coupled with the fact that only two witnesses out of seventeen prosecution witnesses are left to be examined, this appeal is disposed of as not pressed. However, the Trial Court is requested to conclude the trial in case titled “UT of J&K through Police Station, Bijbehara v. Shakir Ahmad Itoo” as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months. 4. Disposed of as above.
