Heard the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner claims that after his superannuation, the Travelling Allowance which he is entitled to receive has not been granted. He claims that he filed several representations before the authorities but no action has been taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the Labour Commissioner, Government of Jharkhand-respondent No.2, his claim will be considered and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any travelling allowance, the same will be disbursed to the petitioner.

Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioner to file a representation within four weeks before the Labour Commissioner, Government of Jharkhand. On receipt of the said representation, the case of the petitioner will be considered within six weeks and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for Travelling Allowance, appropriate order will be passed within four weeks thereafter. If it is found that the petitioner is not entitled for any Travelling Allowance as claimed, the reasons thereof should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

If it is necessary to place the case before any

committee or any authority, the same should be placed during the aforesaid period.

Since the petitioner has superannuated on 29.02.2020 and the amount has not yet been paid and if he is found entitled for the amount, the same will carrying interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of admissibility till the date of payment.

With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
